Good job on presentations everyone! I particularly enjoyed Brent’s presentation on applying knot theory to polymer chemistry. This is some exciting stuff, to see pure areas of mathematics find their applications in other research areas and maybe even industry. I have learned about phrase transitions in polymer materials and geometrized ways to simulate and work on real life examples of knots. This was very interesting!
