Hello World?

Hi Everyone,

My name is Nick. I’m one of the many physics graduate students in our class. My background is in high energy particle physics and string theory, so I’m very interested in topology as it applies to spacetime geometry and gauge theories (fiber bundles), as well as some more obscure stuff like applications of knot theory to quantum field theory.

I’m not really sure what else to put on a first post, or if we’re even supposed to really do an introduction, but I look forward to getting to know you all over the course of the semester.
