Everyone did really well on their presentations. But, I think my favorite one was Nick’s presentation. It was cool to see abstract topology topics used in physics. I think the most interesting thing that I learned about was the Calabi-Yau manifolds and their use in physics.

I think Nick is also good at presentation. Even though his topic is about string theory, his explanation still clear. Obviously, I have to work on my presentation skills. Hope I can do a good job like Nick did.

I also choose Nick’s as my favorite. It was certainly a surprising application of very abstract math. It was cool seeing how crazy math and crazy physics can intersect.
