I liked many of the presentations this week, however I think my favorite was Joe’s; he did a really good job explaining the material and making it clear. It was interesting to see topology used in analysis of texts along with artificial intelligence.

I agree, Joe gave a clear and well-explained presentation. It was very cool how he combined a machine learning tool with Mapper and no doubt some of his own tools to make a topological analysis of written works. I think there is potential for this technique to find patterns in writing, and I would like to see where he goes with it.
